2013 Spring Weddings

Spring Weddings

It's starting to be spring and the emergence of flowers and trees is upon us.  That glorious time of year of regrow and newness helps remind us that everything has it's time and place.  As the flowers begin to grow I am reminded of the beauty of this time and it really gets me excited for the warmer weather and the chance to go out enjoy nature.

Wedding season is usually normally spring and summer time.  I think most brides enjoy the warmer weather and the beauty of the earth at this time.  Here are just a few tips and ideas if you are planning a spring/summer wedding.

1.  Think about what colors you want to use- There are many different themes and styles out there, but choose something that you really like.  Choose colors that make you happy and ones that will help you enjoy your special day.

2.  Think about using a fun theme- this could be something that you really enjoy or just something to help give the reception and bridal party cohesive structure.  Think outside the box and really get into the details.

Super cute idea for wedding escort cards - name on one side, table # on the other. Attach to paper straws and have in bottles of whimsical soda (like Jones or Izze?) for the guests to pick up when they arrive at the reception.

3.  When planning a spring wedding, consider what flowers you want to use- these can help add to your decorations and your colors.  They also can give that wonderful smelling aroma that comes from fresh flowers.

Think about what each color means and incorporate that into your wedding decorations.
