Winter Weddings

Most brides tend to prefer the spring/summer wedding, but there are some advantages to getting married in those cold winter months.

I think the biggest advantage would be that it's usually less crowded at the venues with other brides getting married that day and that family can usually come and also enjoy the holidays with you as well.  13% of weddings occur in the winter with 11% as christmas weddings.

Now, if you're getting married after the holidays, that's even better because it's something to look forward to during those winter months.  For myself, January and February are months when not a whole lot is going on.  I love the snow and all, but lets face it... it's COLD:)  My kids are cooped up in the house and we're thinking of stuff to do, but when there's a wedding in the winter it's something fantastic to look forward to:)

Plus, if it's cold outside it gives you a chance to snuggle up close to your honey even more:)  who doesn't want that as a newlywed??:)

Enough talk, here are some links to some great websites so you can get your winter wedding inspiration.
