This baby was so excited to come to earth that she was born in the driveway before her parents could make it to the hospital! They are all doing good and she slept the entire time I was there. Talk about a good baby! Here are a few from her newborn session.

preschool pictures
Doing preschool pictures is always so fun:) The kids are usually playful and light hearted and just seem to laugh and show who they are. I usually get different faces from them by saying different things. For this one i took the flower and asked them what it smelled like and they would answer. Then i would tell them it smelled like pizza and they would just laugh. It was precious.

9-11 A day to Remember
I was a freshman at BYU and had an early morning cleaning job at one of the student buildings. I was up at work when the first plane hit and my boss called everyone down to watch the tv. I saw the plane hit the second tower and watched as unexplainable horror crossed the television. What i saw chilled me to the bones as i watched people jumping to their death and then, from what looked like a movie, as both towers fell to the ground. Shock was all i could feel.
My next thoughts were turned to my dad who is a pilot for UPS. I was able to get a hold of my parents after a few tries and found out that he was safe at home. He told me that he was scheduled to fly to NYC the next day and i could hear in his voice the sadness of what we had seen, but also the blessed feeling that it was one day later and that he was home safe.
The next few hours were filled with prayer and thoughts turned to all those that were affected that day. We had a school wide devotional and then classes were cancelled that day. I got to go visit NYC this past May and visit the World Trade Center site. How much has been restored there, but how much is still missing. We got to see the memorial site and then the only living tree that made it that day. They replanted it in the memorial site where it still stands as a memorial to what happened that day and that we are survivors.
Here's my dad at the site and then a few pictures of the memorial. THank you to all who serve this country and protect us!!!
This is my dad. I think that day had a reverence for him and all of us. It was very humbling to be there and to see all of the names on the memorial site. I didn't know them, but my heart ached for their families.
